![]() ![]() ![]() Naturally, if you are running a slimmed down OS there may be some unforseen inherent problems in supporting additional packages. If there is the need to compile, then install development packages for glib, gtk and gnome vte, canvas and sourceview. As a minimum, I would advise installing support for the gnome vte and sourceview widgets (which should be there in most distros anyway). In general, the *.so files are now included for those who don't want to compile the package.
